Industrie 4.0 | In Hall 9 at Booth F06, Beckhoff Automation is attending the exhibition with new products for big data, analytics and communication in the Internet of Things.
Based in Verl in Germany, the presence of the automation technology manufacturer at the fair focuses on Industrie 4.0: the company has enlarged its forum on this future-oriented topic and is showcasing new products for the Internet of Things (IoT).
The analysis software Twincat Analytics saves process data in-sync with cycles. According to the manufacturer’s information, this data forms the basis of comprehensive analyses and is suitable for use in predictive maintenance in smart factories. The process-relevant data is available either locally or as a cloud-based solution on a server in the company network or in a public cloud.
The new range of Twincat products for the Internet of Things supports realtime Ethernet-based standardized protocols for cloud communication and for sending push messages to smart devices. In this way, Beckhoff provides various functions to enable process data to be exchanged via communication protocols, such as AMQP, MQTT and OPC UA, as well as to gain access to special data and communication services from public or local cloud systems.
